Praise GOD for the safe arrival of our Missionaries to Ghana, West Africa. Continue to thank GOD for safety, provision, unity and opportunities for GOD to be glorified. "Your will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven"
Good afternoon from Ghana!!!
Today has been marvelous. God used The Team in a mighty way.
Our day started with devotion at 7:00 a.m. It set the atmosphere and fire for the entire day. We transitioned to the Wednesday Prayer / Bible study session. This was truly a blessing to see the people come out in the middle of the week, in the morning hungry for the Word. They received The Team with Love and Encouragement.
After lunch we transitioned to a Women's Conference where over 200 women showed up.
They were so happy to have us and celebrated the team members who ministered. God used each one in a glorious way.
After dinner we went to another church where The Team participated in the worship and prayer session and one of the team members preached a powerful word.
We have been well taken care of and the best is still yet to come.
God is with us here in Ghana.. His mercy- His grace- His protection and most of all His Holy Spirit..
We started our day with devotion... Thought provoking word on saying yes from Brother Paul Chipman..
We visited a counseling center for women with various conditions. The women will wait all day just to talk to someone about their problems.. As we toured at least 5 women were in line for counseling at 9am but it would not start until later in the afternoon.
We attended a leadership forum, where the men answered questions from men about leadership and the structure of our American churches.
We later took a 2 hour drive to a village where there are churches planted in villages and they were excited to see us. We prayed with the women and men, then sowed a seed into the continued building up of the church. We visited another village where we toured a newly built church.. Just amazing to see the willingness of the people to hear about Jesus.
We returned from the villages where 3 groups were formed and sent to churches to minister back in Kumasi.
We later had a debriefing and then sorted and bagged all clothing to be distributed tomorrow as we travel to another village 2 hours away.
It is 12:51am here in Ghana. The team is resting and preparing for the journey.
Continue to keep us lifted. We feel the prayers. The spirit of peace has been very strong.
We headed out early this morning after devotion.
We went on a 2 hour ride to a village called Mampoo. The journey there was breathtaking; mountains and more the rich culture of Ghana.
Bishop ministered a word so strong to the people of Mampoo. The people were receptive to the word. The Team participated in a healing deliverance service. To the Glory of God.
Later we visited the Mampoo maternity ward. Shalom Outreach was honored for their continual support. This event was regal. They had the entire hospital on alert the the team was coming. Reporters were present to capture this awesome move of God. It was humbling! The team was overtaken when we realized the impact our tithes and offerings made. The hospital administrators were overtaken with tears as they expressed gratitude for how God used this missions ministry to bless them.
Lunch was at the Moderators home. Traditional Ghanian meal outside under a mango tree.
It's so much to share. God gets the glory. We are so excited about what the Lord is doing.
Please continue to pray for the Team.
Continuing to lift you all in prayer. As Co-Pastor prayed, you all are the answer to someone's prayer there in Ghana. Continue to flow with God!
We, at home, continue to pray for you. We thank God for continuing to use Team Ghana, Team Fire, in a mighty way!
The Eagle has landed. The Team is in DC. Glory to GOD!!!! Continue to keep them in prayer. There will be no retaliation in Jesus Name. They and everything concerning them are covered in the blood and the blessings of GOD run each of them down because, GOD's heartbeat has been Heard. Hallelujah!
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
